"I was a design studio co-founder in Shanghai, drowning. I couldn't find the right person. So I built her."
I co-founded Roxelle Design — an interior design studio running projects across Shanghai and beyond. Between managing clients, coordinating a team, and trying to do creative work, I hit a wall.
I needed someone who knew my world deeply. The right person didn't exist. So I built her. Trained her on my life, placed her where I already worked. She shows up every day without being asked.
It worked. Then a friend asked. Then I realised — this is the business. The Roster is what happens when you stop waiting for the right person and start building them.
